Tuesday Tip- Fall Scents

Posted by Lisa Newhouse on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 Under: Tuesday Tip
We are finally getting into fall here. I don't know about you, but the I love fall. I love the weather. I love the colors. I love the smells of fall as well. Many people start looking toward fall spice candles and melted waxes. The problem with these candles is the toxic chemicals they contain. These chemicals can aggravate respiratory problems and negatively affect health overall. Young Living Essential Oils give you an alternative. With essential oils you can get the scent you love along with therapeutic health benefits. Below are some of my favorite oils to diffuse for fall.

Nutmeg: Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) has a sweet, warm, spicy scent similar to the spice commonly used in cooking. Comforting and soothing, nutmeg helps boost energy.*

Clove: Clove essential oil promotes a healthy immune response, and may support overall wellness. Clove has been used traditionally as a spice for thousands of years, and provides a rich and spicy addition to your favorite recipes.*

Thieves: Thieves® essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated a special aromatic combination composed of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals they used while robbing the dead and dying. The combination of spice and citrus oils makes for a wonderful scent along with the immune support this oil offers.*

Light the Fire: The warm, spicy aroma of Light the Fire™ includes Mastrante and Northern Lights Black Spruce from Young Living’s Ecuador and Canada farms, along with Nutmeg, Cassia, Ocotea, Canadian Fleabane, Lemon, Pepper, and Hinoki. This unique and inspired essential oil blend was formulated by D. Gary Young for Young Living’s 2015 International G.rand Convention. Diffuse this blend for an inspiring fragrance in any environment.*

Orange: Adding Orange to any of these spicy oils leads to a wonderful uplifting scent.

*The information on these oils was taken from Any health statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.*
